| The 20 Gallon Tank is home to our Goldfish. Santa Claus brought the kids 3 little fantail Goldfish for Christmas (that Santa sure thinks of everything!) After our last surviving Goldfish, a large Black Moor Fantail passed away about 1 month before Christmas, our daughter was very sad. She was her favorite fish (yes.. it was a girl fish. You see... ALL of the fish are girls, according to Laura!). She had grown significantly since she was moved to the 20 gallon, and was one of the nicer Moors I've seen! She had a nice evenly colored flat-black color, and she didn't have the "shiny spots" that a lot of black moors have on the underside. Well, we now have 2 Goldfish (one didn't make it to New Year's!), one is a Black Moor like the original, and the other is a classic gold. Filtration in the tank is achieved with an AquaClear 200 Filter, and an Undergravel Filter powered by a Neptune Powerhead. |
