Currently, we have 3 fish, 50 inverts and 2 types of coral in our tank. They are a Melanopus Clown, Banggai Cardinal, Six Line Wrasse, Green Button Polyps, Green Mushrooms, 11 Red Legged Hermit Crabs, 10 Left Handed Hermits, 15 Turbo Snails, 15 Margarita Snails, and several Feather Dusters. We learned some VERY expensive lessons in the first years - as is evidenced by the table below. That lesson being PATIENCE! Add fish SLOWLY!!! There is no feeling quite like flushing a $70 fish down the toilet. We listened to the LFS (Local Fish Stores) who made a profit from our buying more and more fish... and more and more expensive fish... when we should have been patient and waited. Of the three fish that we now have, the Melanopus Clown passed the 4 year mark living in our tank in November of 2001. Our Banngai Cardinal is 3 years old, and the Six Line Wrasse has been with us for 2 years. We've recently lost our Hawaiian Yellow Tang (3 1/2 years) and our Mexican Rainbow Wrasse (3 years). Both were beautiful fish, and both suddenly got sick and stopped eating. These are all of the Critters that have resided in our Saltwater Aquarium...
