Tandem Bikes

A Bicycle built for Two.  Or three, four, five... even six riders!  Yes, tandems can get quite long!

Cathy & I purchased our Burley San Marino in August of 2002 after a 2-1/2 year research and shopping period.  We rode quite a few tandems, priced them out, and read everything we could get our hands on.

We bought the Burley San Marino because when we rode it, it felt GREAT!  Our original intentions were to buy a steel tandem (the San Marino is aluminum), but when our salesman asked us to sit on & ride the San Marino "just to check the size & fit" - we didn't want to get off!

If you are shopping for a tandem, remember one thing - Shop for a Frame that fits you!  Any hardware, such as wheels, gears, brakes, etc. can be installed on any frame.  Go frame-shopping first, then decide on your components.
