Anthony arrived in America from England during the summer of 1623 on
the ship "Ann." He landed in Plymouth, New England, and later became
master of the "Blessing of the Bay," the first sea-going craft built
in what is now Massachusetts. He settled at Salem, traded with
Indians on the Maine Coast, and was shipwrecked and drowned off Cape
Cod on 15 Dec, 1638.
